Shipping Information

We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. Orders placed by 1:00 PM (UK time) on weekdays are typically dispatched the same working day.

During periods of high demand—such as sales, promotions, or special events—processing times may be slightly longer due to increased order volume. In such cases, we guarantee that all orders placed by 1:00 PM on a weekday will be dispatched no later than the following working day, unless otherwise stated on our website.

Please rest assured, we are committed to dispatching your order as quickly as possible and strive to maintain prompt and reliable shipping at all times.


UK Express Shipping Policy

Delivery Services
We ship all UK mainland express orders via DPD Express or DHL Next Day. Once dispatched, delivery is estimated within 1–2 working days, depending on your location.

You’ll receive email and/or text message updates from DPD or DHL on the day of delivery, including a 1- to 2-hour delivery window by 11:00 AM. All consignments are fully tracked and insured.


Remote Area Deliveries

Orders addressed to the following postcode areas will be shipped via an alternative courier:

  • Scottish Highlands: AB36–38, AB41–46, AB51–56, FK17–21, IV1–39, IV52–54, IV63, KW1–14, PA21–40, PH15–18, PH19–26, PH30–41, PH49–50

  • Scottish Islands: HS1–9, IV40–51, IV55–56, KA27–28, KW15–17, PA20–24, PA41–49, PA60–78, PH42–44, ZE1–3

  • Northern Ireland: BT

These remote-area deliveries remain tracked and insured, and are typically delivered within 2–5 working days, depending on the exact location.


Delivery Notifications & Safe Place Options

You will receive a shipping notification via email or text once your parcel has been dispatched. Please note: courier tracking may not update until later in the evening — this is completely normal.

If you're unavailable on the day of delivery, you'll be given alternative delivery options such as:

  • Leave in a safe place

  • Leave with a neighbour

  • Deliver to a local drop-off shop

Important: While these options offer convenience, please be aware that CBD Black requires orders to be delivered in person for full accountability. If you choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour, you accept full responsibility for the package. CBD Black will not be liable for any loss or theft under these circumstances, and no refund or replacement will be provided.


Missed Deliveries & Returns

If you miss your delivery, DPD will leave a notification card with options to:

  • Reschedule delivery

  • Deliver to a neighbour or safe place

  • Collect from a local drop shop

If your parcel is returned to us due to non-delivery, a return shipping fee of £4.99 will be deducted. By placing an order, you accept this policy as legally binding.


Shipping Information Accuracy

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping information. CBD Black is not responsible for parcels lost, delayed, or misdelivered due to:

  • Incorrect address or postcode

  • Wrong shipping option selected

In these cases, no refund will be issued for shipping fees, and any additional shipping charges will be the customer’s responsibility.


Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders can be cancelled at no cost if the cancellation is made before dispatch.

  • Once your order is shipped, cancellation will incur return shipping charges, and the original shipping fee will not be refunded.

  • If you wish to cancel after receiving your item, you must follow our standard returns and refund process.


Delivery Timeframes & Liability

As of 08/07/2025, CBD Black uses DPD Express and DHL Next Day services for UK mainland deliveries. While we aim for next-working-day delivery, it is not guaranteed. Factors such as traffic, local depot delays, or courier issues may cause delays. CBD Black will not be held financially responsible for such delays.
